johnnyhotspur 31st Jan 2025		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Rock Steady Coxsone Style	Just added. Repressing from the 1990's. Original came out in 1967 Matrix: (proper stamps) CSL + 8013 + A CSL + 8013 + B Track listing on the rear of the sleeve is opposite way around from the labels.

Dodd Probably can't notice by the image but the rear sleeve credits a couple of typos: 'Sour Vendors' and 'The Ministrels'.

Matrix: SOL 9008 A SOL 9008 B Original came out in 1969 A compilation of both Studio 1 and Treasure Isle tracks making this a dubious release! A nice collection nevertheless. Side 2 sleeve track listing differs from the actual label, omitting 'Silver Dollar' and re-naming 'Elevator Rock' as 'Sabastain Hop'. Track A7 'Cool Smoke' is an alternative take to the original 45. Track B1 'Heavenless' is actually by Vin Gordon. Track B5 'African Beat' is actually by Lester Sterling

johnnyhotspur 21st Jan 2025		Vinyl Album Jackie Opel - Cry Me A River	My copy has red text on the Coxsone labels, as per this release but with CRY ME A RIVER Jackie Opel all on one line, and SIDE 1 and SIDE 2 on the left (both capitol letters), almost exactly the same as this release on here.
johnnyhotspur 20th Jan 2025		Vinyl Album Jackie Opel - The Best Of	Brilliant, found my copy on that site, just as you described! I do have the 'Downbeat Special' booklet / discography that came out years ago but that only listed one of this Jackie Opel release. I also own his other LP, which I believe is an original copy. Got that from Andrew Neal in Nottingham many moons ago. That particular album is more in the Soul vein.
johnnyhotspur 20th Jan 2025		Vinyl Album Jackie Opel - The Best Of	I used to get mine from 'Sound Clash' in Norwich, they specialise in Ska/Reggae (among other genres). Sometimes used to visit Soho in London, 'Dub Vendor' and another that I forgot about. I'll try and list some more that aren't on here in the coming weeks. Just to add: On this reissue, track B4 is actually 'Push Wood' not 'Sit Down Servant'
