Juke Jules SUBS 1st Jun 2017		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Roda De Samba	Review Essence of the Carnaval do Rio, much declamation and shouting which resolves into spirited rhythmic songs with much percussion and whistles. Many of the tracks run into one another... A young Rupert is sent by his mother to get some sugar from the shop so she can bake a cake, and on the way he encounters all kinds of friends and strange creatures, all the time accompanied by the spirited playing of little ensembles from the sadly uncredited 'Orchestra'. At least the arranger is credited for his energetic work on this theatrical storyline.
