labelmanager SUBS 13th May 2021		Vinyl Album Paul Anka - Paul Anka Gold: 28 Original Hit Recordings (1974)	My copy is a match to the images posted by AllHit45s. Deadwax indicates this was mastered at Sterling Sound, New York, and pressed by Columbia, Don Mills, Ontario. The original ABC Paramount masters, which Anka had purchased back from ABC, had been out of print for years and were licensed in 1974 to Eric Records, then based in Philadelphia. Polydor Canada licensed these Anka tracks from Eric Records and released this album and a number of singles under the Pop Classics banner. In the U.S., Eric issued the 45's and licensed this album to Sire Records.

Subsequently, after a corporate name change, the jacket credit was changed to: ℗1973 Polydor Ltd. Manufactured and Distributed by Polydor Ltd. — Made in Canada.
labelmanager SUBS 18th Sep 2019		Vinyl Album Joey Gregrash - Joey Gregrash (1973)	Joey Gregorash's second album, with his last name intentionally spelled "Gregrash". The changed spelling was the result of an agreement between the artist and the record company to drop the "o" as many Canadian (and some American) DJ's would pronounce his last name as "greGORash" rather than "Gregorash". This spelling was also used on some singles issued in 72-73. The attempt to resolve the mispronunciation issue was unsuccessful and abandoned; Polydor reverted to including the "o" on later releases. This album was recorded in Memphis, primarily at the Stax Records studios. It was issued in a gatefold jacket and the recording credits were included on the inside of the jacket.
