LaurenceD SUBS 15th May 2020		Vinyl Album Les Baxter - Moog Rock (1970)	Many of the track titles on the front cover differ somewhat from those on the back cover and labels; I have entered the ones from the labels.
LaurenceD SUBS 9th May 2020		Vinyl Album The Platters - Remember When (1959)	I added scans from my stereo copy; A couple of things I should mention: - to clarify the notes, both the mono and stereo LPs were issued with the earlier and later cover designs (mine being of the later). - the previously posted front cover image (499754) is from the Netherlands release (135 106 MCY). I have hidden it for now; when we have an NL entry for it we can move it over. - the track order for the stereo LP differs slightly from that of the mono; tracks A5 & A6 are swapped. The label reflects that change in order, but the cover does not, so I have changed the track order as per the label. As far as I can determine, this is the case with all stereo releases.

LaurenceD SUBS 7th Apr 2020		Vinyl Album Tyler King And The Twisteens - Twistin' Time (1961)	A rather worn cover; better scans are welcomed. Consensus for a release date seems to be 1961, but I'm not positive. The tracks on this LP can be found on a wide variety of compilations, with varying performer credits; for instance see this French EP.

LaurenceD SUBS 16th Jan 2020		Vinyl Album Loyd Hadachek - Certified Purchase Plan (1957)	The disc contains instructions for sales personnel as to use of the "certified purchase plan" to aid in securing the sale of a vehicle. I was surprised to see the Monarch delta numbers on this item.

The track order listing of B1 & B2 differs between the cover and the label; listening reveals that the label is correct, so I have adjusted the track order for this entry.

The original stereo entry had no images; sometime thereafter various folks submitted images from their mono LPs. So I have: - created a new mono entry (V-5031) here and moved the mono scans over to that one - kept your scans here and added my cover scans as well I cannot reassign ownership settings, so each member will have to account for their own status as far as that goes (attn: mrvica and soultwinz).

I'll have to go back and watch Solo Trans again and see what he's doing...

LaurenceD SUBS 17th Nov 2019		Vinyl Album Various Artists - The Famous Standards Of Maceo Pinkard (1959)	According to the Billboard ad, this album was also available in 45 rpm and EP formats. I see some of the 45 single releases out there; I have yet to see any EP from this label. The mono LP appears to have been issued with number 125.

Not sure about the actual release date of the 12" version. The latest of the added tracks (A1,A2,B1,B2) would be Simple Simon from single F3188, ca. 7/55.
LaurenceD SUBS 12th Sep 2019		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Recorded Entertainment Live At The Whiskey-A-Go-Go (1964)	Boy, it seems like a lot of labels were trying to ride the coattails of those Johnny Rivers "Whiskey-A-Go-Go" albums. While there are some great selections on this LP, I can't really recommend it because of the dubbed 'audience' noise and the unnamed announcer yelling in between each song. Just to be clear, these are the original studio recordings. Well it does say "recorded entertainment"...
