The Psychedelic Furs - The Psychedelic Furs (1983)
This "nice price" re-release was the first time the original UK track list was issued in the USA. The original USA release had a different cover (see link below USA -Columbia-1980) and the song "Blacks/Radio" replaced with two songs "Susan's Strange" and "Soap Commercial" for some reason. Perhaps the new songs and cover were designed to create interest in the local copy ahead of the,by then, fast selling UK import. This is still the best way to hear the album despite the novelty attraction of the first US releases' extra songs and different track listing doesn't really come off. This mainly due to the extra songs being very obviously not recorded for this album and they stand out noticeably, and not in a good way on the original US 1980 LP.

Various Artists - The Harder They Come (Soundtrack) (2018)
I bought this copy in the USA. That's three continents that this LP is available in to my knowledge Australia. North America and Europe. What to do? I listed this as an EU release am I right?

This is available in Australia as a local release.

Super Furry Animals - Guerilla (2019)
The album entered here was bought in Australia from Warners' Australian website so this is definitely an Australian release.

Current value? Sod all! Lots available for between a fiver and a tenner of English currency.

Slade - Slade Alive (1972)
This is the first album I bought with my own money. Proud or ashamed? A bit of both - it could have been a much worse choice. It was sold, stolen or given away in the late 70's and I didn't bother to replace it.

David Bowie - Aladdin Sane (2015)
This is almost definitely a Bootleg/Repro. All of Bowie's catalogue went to EMI in the late 80's and most official represses have appeared on either the EMI or Parlophone label. The only real exceptions being the USA Rykodisc releases. So any recent releases appearing on the RCA Victor label are fakes or reproductions. Hoist the pirate flag on this one me hearties.

The Beatles - Revolver (2012)
This entry is a bit of a mess. Firstly, I'm not sure if the barcode really is 0094638241713 as listed by me when I did the entry. This site lists the barcode as 094638241713 exactly the same as the cat# which makes more sense to me.

Now to GimmeVinyl's later release that has an abbreviated cat# 824171 compared to the cat# 094638241713 but both issues share the same barcode as per link above and as is evident here for GimmeVinyl's issue. So I think they should be listed together and I've added cat# 824171 as a secondary cat#. I'll send a correction to sort out the barcode and that should put this one right.

The B-52's - The B-52's (1979)
Well, got a new scanner (A3) scanner yesterday and thought I'd try it out on some covers or back covers that I couldn't piece together with ICE. The back cover of this was my first attempt and it is a single scan, cropped to size with no other editing. If only I had this nine hundred albums ago it would have saved me 4-5 times the amount of work for each shot. Anyway, I'll be able to tidy up some my patchy and iffy composites nice and swiftly if I want to now.

Iggy Pop And James Williamson - Kill City (1978)
Edited my shot of the green vinyl version so it's straight and square. Hmm...words you don't often see when people are talking about Iggy.

Upsetters - Return Of Django (1995)
Linked this 1995 Trojan label re-issue to the original UK Upsetter label release with the same cat# but no barcode. There are clearly enough differences between the two releases to warrant separate listings.

The Rolling Stones - Still Life (American Concert 1981) (1982)
CUNP 39115 would warrant a separate entry as far as I can see Problem Child. A kind of global hermaphrodite release as can be seen here with about an equal smattering of COCs and CUNs spread across the world.

Upsetters - Return Of Django (1969)
Hi sheepdip1234 as usual the Beatles are the precedent and this site lists the original Parlophone stereo release of "Rubber Soul" as a separate entry to the 1994 Apple re-release with the same cat#. So a separate entry would be required or a merge of the two albums mentioned above as well if that's not the case. What do others or the MODS think?

Lou Reed - Live (1978)
This is actually on RCA Victor and not RCA as can be clearly seen here. Copying data and mistakes from Discwrongs can be a dangerous way to go about entering albums. Correction sent.

Stray Cats - Rant N' Rave With The Stray Cats (1983)
Why there is different artwork on the album title on and band name to everywhere else in the world (see links below) is a mystery to me. Doesn't make it worth overlooking like the rest of them though. Only worth a second glance for curiosities sake. I hear B1 was one of Prince Andrew's favourites. Ooh, I'm in a mood.

Lou Reed - Lou Reed Live Take No Prisoners (1979)
There Is a slight issue here in that while cat#s are the same on the orange and black labels the black label repress is on the RCA label and the original release is on the orange labels was on RCA Victor. Technically two different labels. Furthermore, when I added the images here (all of them except the black labels) I searched by cat# and this album with the black labels was listed but did not notice that the label is incorrectly listed as RCA rather than RCA Victor. So, the label here needs to change to RCA Victor to match the release date and the RCA black label needs a separate entry under date unknown. Could Graham7 or a MOD create a new entry for the RCA black version and a MOD change label here to RCA Victor as it should be and is also incorrectly listed here at Discwrongs (he he). Trifling I know for such a shit album but I do like trifle. (correction sent)

The Deviants - The Deviants (1969)
Come on people! If you want to have a re-oriented full shot of the cover (front and back) just do one up and add it to the entry. It may be a little tricky to patch but it wouldn't take longer than half an hour. Stop blithering on about site protocols and do it or just or forget about it if no-one can be bothered..

The Beatles - Help! (1965)
Hello wax_museum, perhaps you could ask to have your stereo labels moved to the stereo entry for this album, listed here. And yes, wax_museum, you do contribute and very well I might add from an Australian perspective.

Rock Follies - Rock Follies (1976)
No YouTube video of Dr Feelgood's cameo in an episode of this show? If there is I can't find it or am I mistaken and it never happened and I'm the realm of the forum topic "....Oh.....My brain hurts....!!....I went to the gig, but my memory is sketchy about dates, even years....!!??".

Various Artists - Phil Spector's Christmas Album (1983)
This two album set was released in Australia as local product - I bought my copy at a regular shop @ regular price at a supermarket way out where the suburbs meet the bush. I won't even mention how it should be listed.

Ramones - Rocket To Russia (2018)
Label should perhaps be Rhino / Sire or even just Rhino the cat# RR1 6042 definitely comes from Rhino's numbering system as is evident in RR (Rhino Records). These modern era facsimile labels can be tricky to enter and often things are not quite as they seem at first glance.

Oh, Lord my eyes I thought that said Maceo Parker for a second there. I was going that's an unusual cover for a Maceo album. Of course as usual I was wrong.

So your saying the cat# here is wrong Phil? I agree. A quick look on the net reveals it to be SAL-933072 for the 1968 release. It was released in Australia with this cat# but not in 1968.

Various Artists - Tamla Motown Presents 20 Mod Classics (1979)
My copy of this is on RCA not EMI as is Janie's copy here. It is identical in every other way so did RCA own the rights to Motown before or after EMI? Or did EMI own the rights in Europe and RCA own them for the rest of the world? I bought my copy in Australia so this release could have been released outside Europe also. Anyway I'll do scans and add them here tomorrow but it is a little odd.

Air Supply - Love And Other Bruises (1977)
Oh yes, we had to put up with them for years before we let them loose on the rest of the world. I think they met during the Australian stage production of Jesus Christ Superstar and after that released "Love And Other Bruises" in 1976.
