Vinyl Album
Bobby Hebb - Sunny (1966)
Don't be confused by the liner notes these songs don't sound "country" they are all 60s soul. The cover of Porter Wagoner's Satisfied Mind Is good and made #39 on the pop chart. My copy of the album is labeled mono on the jacket and label but it's Stereo. I guess I saved a dollar on this one.

Vinyl Album
Elvis Presley - 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong (1962)
My copy has a newer black label with a slightly smaller Nipper and different fonts of the record number and side, title on the label "Elvis' gold records volume 2" and the stereo at the bottom is smaller and straight.I think I bought it around 1965.The cover doesn't have a date on the jacket,an oddity for RCA.A ten track album in this time period was a rip off.

Vinyl Album
Don Gibson - Don Gibson [Golden Archive Series] (1970)
These songs are from Don's time on MGM from 1955 to 1957 and did not get hurt too bad by the fake stereo. Real country and rockabilly.

Vinyl Album
Ernest Tubb - Ernest Tubb's Greatest Hits (1973)
AKA Decca DL 5006 mono DL 75006 stereo 1968. Ernest had a life time contract with Decca and made money for them from 1944 until Decca became MCA and they must have not have signed him because after that he was on another label.

Vinyl Album
The Galaxy Generation - Aquarius
This label has a random number run but based on the record number and songs I would date it 1969 oh! and by way it says "7-69" in the dead wax.

Vinyl Album
Fringe Benefit - Fringe Benefit (1977)
I picked this album up from the bargain bin because I thought it was rockabilly (Label,Don't be Cruel, and the cover picture) it's not, but the music is good and i'm glad I got it.

Vinyl Album
Freddie And The Dreamers - Freddie & The Dreamers (1965)
Do the Freddie was a hit when this album hit the shelves thus the sticker and the reprint of the cover in hopes of selling some extra albums. The song is on the next album to come out.

Vinyl Album
Connie Francis - Do The Twist (1962)
There are no singles from this album to help sales. Drop It Joe was the B side of Don't Break the Heart That Loves You (MGM 13059) a number one Billboard hit but not on this album.

Vinyl Album
Connie Francis - Country And Western Golden Hits (1959)
No sign of "country sounding" band on this pop music album but Connie sounds so good on the vocals. Cover art looks like the Oklahoma stage show.

Vinyl Album
Charlie Dore - Where To Now (1980)
I'll bet that the cover was changed when "Pilot" started climbing the pop charts (hit #13 U.S.) to give her a more youthful look.

Vinyl Album
Lenny Dee - Dee-Most! (1956)
They kept re-releasing MOR oldies in the late 60s, early 70s for the pre boomers but it had to be before 72 when Decca went away.

Vinyl Album
Joey Dee And The Starliters - Doin' The Twist At The Peppermint Lounge (1961)
Notes say the group was formed in 1960 and record label says 1958. To clear this up 1958 is the copyright for the label design.S1 track 1 & S2 track 1 are studio tracks thankfully because the sound on the live tracks suck.
