PaythePiper SUBS 21st Aug 2021		Vinyl Album The Shangri-Las - I Can Never Go Home Any More (1965)	Had forgotten about this gem " Never Again" ( A2) buried in this rerelease of their second album. Went looking for it in any country release on a single but no result, not even as a B side. Always seemed that Red Bird didn't promote their artists or potential songs really well. [YouTube Video]

PaythePiper SUBS 26th Jan 2021		Vinyl Album Peter And Gordon - In Touch With Peter And Gordon (1964)	Didn’t know it was Jones, he played unique style everything he picked up, but I always loved the harmonica on Love Me Baby, something else wicked specially solo mid point in song. My Babe also has similar style harmonica, so I’m guessing it would also be the talented B Jones again. Side B sequence here is very good. This version LP did not have a US corresponding album. Great sequence My Babe- Willow Garden- Love me Baby- I don’t care what they say- My little girl’s gone - Ain’t that lovin’ you baby- Leave me in the rain. If you are a PG fan and never heard, you gotta play this LP.
PaythePiper SUBS 8th Aug 2020		Vinyl Album Sergio Mendes And Brasil '66 - Herb Alpert Presents Sergio Mendes And Brasil '66 (1966)	May be mere coincidence that recently same discussion went on in the single entry. Although the mistake can be easily made, mas - mais, the correct way is Mas Que Nada. Workers at plants and proofreaders would not have known the difference even if they had been proficient in Portuguese. They would not have known which one was intended unless at the time they knew the song very well, unlikely cause the song had just come out. What should have been done is if the tiny difference in adding one more letter had been noticed, someone go find out, too much trouble. Now more recently is a different story, they could have corrected it like in the 80's and 90's. Today? Is this even being pressed/made in any form anymore?

PaythePiper SUBS 20th Jun 2019		Vinyl Album The Beatles - Help! (1965)	After seeing the movie a bunch of times when I was just 5 years old, having made every single adult in the family take me; I threw a bad tantrum begging my dad to go get this album. It was pouring badly that day but because of my fit and bawling, the poor guy gave in and drove me to go get my copy. I walked around the house with this album as a comforting blanket (like Linus Van Pelt of the Peanuts characters) for the longest time and played it on a kiddie record player till there was no more grooves left. My original cover is all torn, I read that a sealed original one is inexistent because everyone opened their copy to look inside the gatefold pics. I shouldn't be telling this anecdote being that I didn't behave very well, it served as an amusing story in my family forever. But it's more of a confession of how these guys had a severe impact, effect on the world regardless of age, gender, culture, creed etc.... "And now you know the Rest of The Story" ( Paul Harvey)
PaythePiper SUBS 20th Jun 2019		Vinyl Album Gary Lewis And The Playboys - Close Cover Before Playing (1969)	Roaming a store close to a beach place in Florida found this Gary Album and thought the cover so creative because it opened like a Matchbook. I knew a few songs from singles like Everyday I have to Cry which he covers really well, Main Street also and his rendition of Rhythm of The Rain is pretty good, his style and voice fit well for that song. And I thought should I get this? When I checked that 45 Worlds did not have the images, that took over the decision for me and went ahead and got it to fill in the gaps here. So here they be.
PaythePiper SUBS 20th Jun 2019		Vinyl Album The Beatles - The Beatles Again (1965)	Placed some Variant forth pressings, Star Logo Odeon here. Solid Navy Blue Labels were mostly first pressings. This Brazilian album release was a good mix specially because it included From Me To You , which was kept from American albums for the longest time when it should have come out on their Second Album. Great collectors' album sequence.

PaythePiper SUBS 17th May 2019		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Electric Muse: The Story Of Folk Into Rock (1975)	My goodness 7 years, not very hopeful for me, it takes me forever to get the simplest amount of info on an item get the pics right, rechecking info, not lazying out on filling all info I have in hand, scanning, editing etc.. even with little experience so far. Only a few days back I figured that if I place my phone on square picture eases up my editing work on the LP cover coming out straight. But no fake praise here, I was utterly impressed with your hard work. Wonderful.

PaythePiper SUBS 13th May 2019		Vinyl Album The Innocence - The Innocence (1967)	Added the labels and back cover images here.Our duo from Rhode Island, Anders and Poncia had many incarnations. The innocence seemed to be their midpoint attempt when music and bands' names began to seem as mystical as possible. There's got to be a Word began playing on radios in the East coast as early as 1966 but to me the strongest on this album is It's Not gonna Take Too long. Interestingly enough neither Mind Excursions nor Catch me In the Meadow which would seem to go in this incarnation were both released when they were still known as Tradewinds and released in their Excursions album. In anyway by this album they were miles away from a surfer boy stranded in winter at Central Park.

PaythePiper SUBS 28th Mar 2019		Vinyl Album The Steve Miller Band - Abracadabra (1982)	I hear you, but he was one of the last true pop rock artists who understood how to get a hit on the radio. At the time all of us 60's lovers came down hard on the 80's, we thought them nothing but Techie music. But man, we'd give anything for the pop talent of the 80's today. Although Steve made much of his mark in the late 70's.
