And we now also have The Primitives [Lou Reed], The Primitives [Oxford, U.K., And Later Italy, 1960’s] and Primitives (without 'The').

Since the runout doesn't match the cat# perhaps RVG might refer to the legendary Rudy Van Gelder? This has some interesting info. Made in USA for Japanese market? @PhilMH: already suggested, hence runout query :-)

philwill SUBS 3rd Aug 2016		Vinyl Album Joe Sample - Voices In The Rain (1981)	The labels I have added have MCL 1765 but the back cover & spine have MCG 4016 and runouts have MCL 1765 (stamped) with (etched) MCG 4016 crossed out. No doubt Quality Control were having a day off :)
philwill SUBS 28th Nov 2015		Vinyl Album The Kinks - Dead End Street: Greatest Hits (1983)	According to this site this release was withdrawn after legal action because of the EP of 6 "Previously Unreleased" tracks. KINK 2 was released some months later with an EP of "Previously Released" tracks.

philwill SUBS 11th Jan 2014		Vinyl Album Alphonse Mouzon - By All Means (1981)	There are versions with exactly the same back cover and Cat# but with the front cover also crediting Lee Ritenour and the Seawind Horns and with "P.A.U.S.A. Inc. Los Angeles, CA. 90069" under the logo on the labels, not just "PAUSA Records".
