Tottenham Citadel Band Of The Salvation Army - Salvation Army Music (1962)
I played Alderney once , marching back from a Rememberance Day service , (we only marched the flat part of the local authority route and turned off ). I somewhat took the drum beat a little too fast and we shot off leaving the hobbling British Legion contingent somewhat far behind (they went down the hill and off with the Sea Scouts and Boys Bridgade bands, bless them). It is quite a nice little simple march to play but I have no idea what words or song it is based on.

Sky - Sky 2 (1980)
Does one on 'Hotta?' I think mis play a beat - there is a click or bump in one track on one disc too (or is that on Sky 3?) Was the pressing at fault or the master / mother disc in the batch ? I have acquired a second disc I will have to test.

The Alarm - Declaration (1984)

Discogs supposedly finds two different TA1PE one mastering varaitions in addition to the non- tape one version, can anyone confirm.

Joan Armatrading - Track Record (1983)
Slightly different pressing boss on mine, plain sleeve without the sticker but gold A&M promo disc stamp on the reverse. Bibao ? (no POUNDA) !TA1PE scribed on runout of Side 1 no other clear markings to my iffy eyes. See Discogs that is a PRS pressing, the current depicted is CBS pressing. There are 3 UK versions on discogs but it seems one is the sleeve sticker 'varient' unless there are further minor differences.

Actually the etching might be (if intended as demo) a Biblo (Dennis Blackham) mastering ? so a different variant.

Various Artists - Down Memory Lane (1966)
Discogs suggests
B6 –Robert Mandell And His Orchestra With Mike Sammes Singers

but there is nothing on most labels which finish at B5 for artist credits and the sleeve notes mention the songs in detail, but not the artists

Artist detail is on the inner pasted artwork in the box of the set. (!)

Dont know why they would be cover bootlegs ( it would be nice if they came from TopPops 6 track cover EPs or similar of the time) as sound recording licencing is possible. Dont sound like needle drops so maybe pulled from the DVD release of the movie, in which case they will be the artists. Dont forget movies including their soundtracks have different and longer length copyrights than plain audio releases on disc, ( some period of Producer lifetime + x years from memory ) and so this may be a reason for the not crediting artists or re-creating the tunes in a new setting)
yours for £35 and a bit

Amazon Reviewer Notes
the musical segments by other artists. These are not incorporated into the story film by having them drop by the radio station to plug their new song, or by having Jimmy go to a concert. Instead, each artist was filmed recording a song in a studio. These performances are unique to this film, as they are all done with the same background, and not just some concert footage edited in. This at least makes these performances special. But what happens is that whenever Jimmy puts on a record or turns on the radio, one of these performance clips pops up. Not only that, but they're each tinted a single color to differentiate them from the plotted film. The result is that the plot of the film, slight as it is, is totally interrupted and conversely, just when you're getting into the music, suddenly this movie returns. Weird.

But there are some really nice music clips here, sort of an early form of a music video. The headliners are Jackie Wilson, Chubby Checker, Bill Black's Combo, Dion, and Marv Johnson, with newcomers (who never really made it) Vicki Spencer (kind of a Connie Stevens type) and Jack Larson (not the same Jack Larson who played Jimmy Olsen on the fifties' Superman TV show). Of course Jackie Wilson is always worth seeing, and Chubby Checker is plugging a new dance here, "The Jet", that didn't take off, but he soon would be riding high on the second wave of The Twist fad in early '62. Of special interest is Marv Johnson, who was discovered by Berry Gordy, Jr. and had just come off his biggest career hit, You Got What it Takes (1960) His career was short so there are not many clips of him performing. Dion is always good, but he sings a pop tune here, Somebody Nobody Wants, and because he was such a rock'n'roller, I would have wanted him to rock a little more.
