Recordholic 5th Feb 2022 | | Vinyl AlbumWaylon Jennings - Leavin' Town (1966) | First pressing of this is on the black label with RCA Victor in large white print at the top and “Stereo Dynagroove” in silver at the bottom.
Recordholic 6th Jan 2022 | | Vinyl AlbumJohnny Burnette And The Rock 'n Roll Trio - Johnny Burnette And The Rock 'n Roll Trio (1956) | Cover shown at the top is not the US pressing, but rather the Vogue/Coral UK issue.
(Mod. comment: UK image hidden for now)
Recordholic 6th May 2021 | | Vinyl AlbumElvis Presley - Elvis' Christmas Album (1957) | I believe that the red vinyl pressing of this is a one-of-a-kind item pressed up by an RCA-Victor employee.
Recordholic 10th Nov 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumMerle Travis - Back Home (1957) | First issued as a 4-disc, 8-song 78 rpm album in 1947 as “Folk Songs From The Hills”.
Issued in 1957 on 12” LP with 4 additional tracks from the same ‘47 sessions, titled “Back Home”, issued on the turquoise label, then on the first two Capitol rainbow labels with the logo at 9:00.
Re-issued in 1963 with original catalog number, in mono (no Duophonic), with new cover art and the ‘60s-era rainbow label (logo at 12:00).
Recordholic 6th Nov 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Dave Clark Five - Bits And Pieces (1964) | Soundwise, my copy of this is somewhat muffled compared to the US version.
Was this version pressed from a dub?
Recordholic 6th Nov 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumLloyd Price - The Exciting Lloyd Price (1959) | Listed as a mono LP, yet a stereo cover is shown.
Track B6 is a different recording than the single version. Unsure whether it is an alternate take or a complete re-recording.
Recordholic 26th Oct 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Everly Brothers - Gone, Gone, Gone (1965) | Track A1 had already been released on their second WB LP from 1960. Why it was released again here is anyone’s guess. By the time of this release, there were plenty of non-LP tracks (or even unreleased tracks) that could have been included instead.
Recordholic 19th Oct 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumAndy Williams - Andy Williams (1958) | 2nd cover shown.

Recordholic 2nd Oct 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumJimmie Rodgers - Jimmie Rodgers (1957) | First label was black w/white print. Track B3 is a different (earlier) version than the Roulette single version. Whether the single version was substituted on subsequent re-pressings, I do not know.
Recordholic 2nd Oct 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Everly Brothers - Pass The Chicken & Listen (1972) | I believe that this is the only one of their original LPs to not feature their photo anywhere on the cover.
Recordholic 17th Mar 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumBuddy Holly - That'll Be The Day (1958) | Was this ever issued on the multi-colored Decca label?
Recordholic 11th Mar 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumJohnny Cash - Unchained (2012) | Kinda dumb to print the CD speed rather than the LP speed on the record label, huh?
Recordholic 25th Feb 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumElvis Presley - Moody Blue (1977) | Probably the most common colored vinyl LP ever made.
Recordholic 21st Feb 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumElvis Presley - Let's Be Friends (1970) | The blue RCA Camden labels came first. The Pickwick ones came later.
Recordholic 19th Feb 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumElvis Presley - A Legendary Performer Volume 2 (1976) | Two different pressings... One has false starts on track B4, one doesn't.
Recordholic 18th Feb 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumIke And Tina Turner - River Deep (1969) | Does anyone know if the cover art on this is the same as what was intended for the original (cancelled) 1966 release?
Recordholic 18th Feb 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Everly Brothers - Folk Songs By The Everly Brothers (1962) | The track order on this is different than the original 1958 release.
Recordholic 18th Feb 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Everly Brothers - The Fabulous Style Of The Everly Brothers (1960) | 1st pressing of this is on the maroon & silver label.

Recordholic 11th Jan 2020 | | Vinyl AlbumZZ Top - Eliminator (1983) | Have 2 pressings of this... One has a 4:35 version of "Legs", one has a 3:33 version of "Legs". Which pressing came first?
Recordholic 13th Jul 2019 | | Vinyl AlbumEddie Cochran - Eddie Cochran (1960) | So which is the first cover?
Recordholic 25th Nov 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Grand Ole Country Hits (1963) | On the stereo pressing of this, the backing vocals on "Rockin' Rollin' Ocean" are missing.
Recordholic 30th Oct 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumDion And The Belmonts - Presenting Dion And The Belmonts (1959) | My copy has the solid gold label.
Recordholic 23rd Oct 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumThe Beatles - Introducing The Beatles [Version Two] (1964) | My copy is this is as follows... Rainbow label, oval logo, thin print (just like the one shown). It is also (as per the dead wax) a "Sheldon" pressing. Would that mean that it's one of the earliest pressings of this version?
Recordholic 22nd Oct 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumRoger Miller - The One And Only (1965) | Compilation of his pre-Smash RCA recordings (1960-63).
Recordholic 22nd Oct 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumRoger Miller - The Return Of Roger Miller (1964) | The cover shown is the first variation, with only "Do Wacka Do" advertised at the top.
The second cover variation advertises both "King Of The Road" AND "Do Wacka Do" at the top, and the color band listing the LP's tracks is red rather than purple.
Recordholic 26th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumGogi Grant - Suddenly There's... Gogi Grant (1957) | My copy is on red vinyl also. Were they all pressed that way, or just a certain percentage?

Recordholic 8th Aug 2018 | | Vinyl AlbumSteve Martin - The Steve Martin Brothers (1981) | My understanding is that the music side of this LP (Side 2) was actually recorded a number of years before this LP was released.
