RocknRollArchivist 16th Dec 2014 | | Vinyl AlbumLittle Richard - The Fabulous Little Richard (1959) | This third Little Richard's Specialty album includes his mono recordings from 14 September 1955 to 18 October 1957. Tracks A1, A4, A6, B2, B3 and B5 were overdubbed for this album on 9 and 26 February 1959 with the Stewart Sisters vocal group (Trudy Hancock, Irene Diaz, Darlene Paul), so those of them which were issued before this album on singles, are undubbed.
Track B1 "Kansas City" (second version of this song, recorded on 29 November 1955) was re-called next (since 1964) "Medley: Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey" (though "Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey" was recorded later than this version of "Kansas City", on 9 May 1956).

RocknRollArchivist 16th Dec 2014 | | Vinyl AlbumLittle Richard - Little Richard (1958) | None of first three Little Richard's Specialty albums (SP-100/2100, SP-2103, SP-2104) is stereo, as all included stuff was recorded in mono, until 18 October 1957.
Sole Little Richard's Specialty stereo album/compilation is "Well Alright!" (SPS 2136, 1971), which includes some stereo recordings of Spring 1964 (during his brief return to Specialty), and some stereo overdubs of original mono recordings too.
The letters "SP" in catalogue mean simply "Specialty". Its stereo releases have "SPS" in catalogue.

Re Jerry Lee Lewis cuts: there are original Sun recordings, but overdubbed later, outside Sun sessions, by some exotic instruments.
Maybe it's also true for Roy Orbison cuts.
