It was his final studio album for RCA and the first album that followed the so-called Berlin Trilogy of Low, "Heroes" and Lodger (1977–79). Though considered very significant in artistic terms, the trilogy had proved less successful commercially however with this album Bowie got the perfect balance earning critical acclaim along with great commercial success. sladesounds 3rd May 2014 | | Vinyl AlbumDavid Bowie - Lodger (1979) | Lodger is Bowie's 13th studio album. The last of the 'Berlin Trilogy' recorded in collaboration with Brian Eno. Produced in Switzerland and New York City it was seen as being more accessible than its predecessors Low and "Heroes" due to the lack of instrumentals and also being somewhat more pop-oriented. It was still an experimental record in many ways and was not, by Bowie's standards, a major commercial success.

sladesounds 30th Apr 2014 | | Vinyl AlbumQueen - Jazz (1978) | Carouselambra - if your copy has an alt # ie 6E-170 you were right to add the album as a new entry but wrong to add it it here an extra cat #. The extra cat# is when 2 or more cat#'s appear on the sleeve or label.
You ideally need to add scans to your entry to show the alternative cat#.
I have removed your entry for the extra cat#.

sladesounds 24th Apr 2014 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Blue Ridge Mountain Music (1961) | About the same time that London started the green-label 10-inch "Origins of Jazz" series, they started the red-label 10-inch "American Jazz" series using the LZ-x 14000 series (where "x" was a letter designating source label). The American Jazz Recording series started in 1954 and was overtaken in 1956 by the 15000 12-inch "American Jazz Recording" series.
Actual number released I don't have but it should not be too hard to manage on a list. If at a later date it starts to appear to be unmanageable/unusable then it can be looked at again as to the best way forward.

sladesounds 24th Apr 2014 | | Vinyl AlbumVarious Artists - Blue Ridge Mountain Music (1961) | It was agreed by the mods in the early testing stages that London Jazz would be entered as London and a list would be produced to group them together.
I will get my finger out today and update those entered as London Jazz to London and will update the list.
Please let me know if any other crop up and need editing.
