Sniffy 8th Mar 2017		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - I Got Lucky (1971)	Thank you for the info about the matrix numbering. I always thought 5 digits were just a very early issue and the numbers increased as time went on. An early 1980s copy of this LP has MX195807 / MX195808. As far as I am aware all Elvis LP's (including the Reader's Digest box sets) that have this 6 digit matrix numbering would mean that RCA used CBS for the pressing of these LPs?.
Sniffy 4th Mar 2017		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - I Got Lucky (1971)	Yes that is right. The catalogue number stayed the same for this album. Also the matrix number for most of these Camden reissues didn't change until about 1980 and started with MX..... I assume this is because RCA didn't use their plant after 1980 so the MX matrix series was issued by other companies. I would like to know more about this if anyone knows.
Sniffy 4th Mar 2017		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - I Got Lucky (1971)	Correct for the original release which this cover still has the original A172 date on the back but it is definitely a late 1970s reissue. This cover also has the SUMMIT distribution details on the very bottom of the back cover which wasn't on the original cover and only appeared in the later 1970s period.

Sniffy 4th Mar 2017		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - Elvis (1973)	Back cover of this tan label issue has A1077F which suggests reissued Oct 1977.
Sniffy 4th Mar 2017		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - You'll Never Walk Alone (1971)	Blue labels without "Stereo" or "Mono" on top are a 1975-1976 reissue as RCA removed "Stereo" and "Mono" from the top of their orange and blue labels during this period. From 1977 'Camden' is in black print instead of white.
Sniffy 4th Mar 2017		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - Elvis (1968)	The black label issue album was released in March 1969. The TV Special showed on TV in Brisbane on 5 Nov 1969 and then Sydney and Melbourne on 14 Nov 1969.
Sniffy 4th Mar 2017		Vinyl Album Elvis Presley - Blue Hawaii (1961)	The release date in Australia was 16 Nov 1961. Sourced from a newspaper review from that time. The film opened in Sydney on 15 Dec 1961, Brisbane 4 Jan 1962 and then Melbourne 19 Jan 1962.
