tf40408 27th Dec 2017		Vinyl Album Lynyrd Skynyrd - Skynyrd's First And...Last (1978)	This record concludes with an alternate version of "Things Goin' On" than the version that was previously released on Pronounced. Both versions are great, but this version is worth the price of admission for buying the LP.
tf40408 26th Dec 2017		Vinyl Album Rick Springfield - Working Class Dog (1981)	You wouldn't expect much depth from this album, being he was a star on the daytime soap opera General Hospital when this came out, but this is actually a great album. Of course, it's got the mega-hit "Jessie's Girl", but "Hole In My Heart" and "Love Is Alright Tonite" are both just as catchy and melodic. The filler songs "Everybody's Girl" and "Daddy's Pearl" are both great little brain worms and then the album concludes with one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded about making love with his love "Inside Sylvia" is a song that I can't listen to just once - I have to play it over and over and just get lost inside Sylvia....Rick Springfield probably didn't intend it, but he made one of the best albums of the 80's when he wrote and recorded Working Class Dog.

tf40408 20th Dec 2017		Vinyl Album Various Artists - WPOP Hear Here Vol. 2 (1972)	Check out the track listing from this compilation...not a single filler track here! The best compilation album I have hands-down. Even though this is a vanity album from AM station WPOP 1410, this album contains the extended version of "Green Eyed Lady" that I never heard on the radio back then....Great liner notes as well written by station program director Bob Paiva
tf40408 20th Dec 2017		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Disco Mania (1975)	I wonder who decided a disco collection should include "Lady" by Styx and "Hey You" by BTO...or even "Rock And Roll All Night" for that matter.....I am actually surprised "Tie A Yellow Ribbon" didn't make the play list here!
tf40408 20th Dec 2017		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Today's Super Greats, Part 1 (1974)	This DID come as a box set, with the cover almost identical to the cover of the 3rd part release with only difference I can see instead of the "Part 3" underneath the word Super it contains "3 Record Set". Catalog # is simply TU-231. I will create a entry for this box set.
