In order to understand the extraordinary catalogue numbering scheme, simply remove the 1 at the end and read the number backwards. Thus far, therefore there are a total of 36 records issued on the label.
The label is the brainchild of John Golding, a member of the folk music / pop music community who had one record issued by a major label before releasing his own material on his own label. He provided this service to other people of like mind and local to him in Northamptonshire, UK.
The label is now complete when one considers the records which were never issued, the one record which was recorded, allocated a COT. number and then issued on Ran-Tans (Nick Fenwick) and including both LPs and 7" records. Many of the albums have recently been issued on CD and there is one final (and unmentioned) oddity, which is that on one occasion the same catalogue number was used both on an LP and a 7" record (Green Tones Showband).
