Biography - Flame Ireland The second of Tony Johnston's labels created in the mid to late 1970s. These were frequently private releases where the artist approached Tony in order to get him to record and release the record in limited numbers for the artist themselves. They were very rarely made available to the general public by any other means than by personal sales by the artist at concerts and local performances. There was frequently either a country & western (Country 'n' Irish) or religious theme because of the nature of popular music in Ireland at the time. Most traditional music was reserved for Tony Johnston's first label "Cúchulainn" which began earlier in the 1970s from about 1972 onwards. « Discography Edit This Biography : Biography Credits
