The above album is a result of the brief association between Connie Francis and United Artists and is a Spanish edition of selections for UK LP UNITED ARTISTS UAS 30182 WHO'S HAPPY NOW? The LP was recorded after the English sessions, with selections retaining the same orchestrations and arrangements.
Also issued on MC UNITED ARTISTS 10C 264-062.620.
Only 10 tracks are contained on the above LP - the first four on Side 1, and remaining six on Side 2. They are Spanish versions of English-sung titles recorded in London in April and May 1978. The Spanish versions of WHERE THE BOYS ARE (Donde Hay Chicos) and LOVIN' MAN (El Hombre Que Sone), recorded in London in September 1978 have not been included. These two tracks, plus the 10 listed above, feature on MEXICO LP UNITED ARTISTS SLEM-849 (33C 062-62253) also titled CONNIE EN ESPANOL, and COLOMBIA EMI 11707 POR TI MI SIENTO MUJER. Tracking order of the above selections follows that of the Mexico and Colombia releases without the inclusion of DONDE HAY CHICOS and EL HOMBRE QUE SONE - hence only four titles featuring on Side 1. Loss of tapes was blamed for this. Album liner is black & white reproduction of front.
MY HAPPINESS and RAINY DAY BELLS were recorded in English but not released. Their intended place on the WHO'S HAPPY NOW? album were taken by WHERE THE BOYS ARE and A-BA-NI-BI, both recorded after the main album sessions.
