Vinyl Album
Notes CB Feb 3, 1968 This disc of 33.33 rpm is the first of which Brother Jack McDuff, who was an organist and an organ trio bandleader, and David "Fathead" Newman, a jazz and rhythm and blues saxophonist who was a sideman for Ray Charles until 1963, had both collaborated with their diverse music styles into an old -style jazz for that was chiefly aimed at the listeners who had thought that such jazz style was completely obsolete. Finally, this was the third-to-last Atlantic disc of 33.33 rpm of the Atlantic Jazz Series that was both monaurally and stereofonically issued to the record shops in the United States. Images
