POLYDOR S.A. release
MGM label

Following the Polydor takeover of the MGM label and the subsequent company reorganization, Discos Universales S.A. changed its name to that of Polydor S.A. and launched an MGM "17000" series of releases. While catalog numbers were assigned to some compilations, it is believed that not all were, in the final event, released. Details given are as supplied by Polydor at the time.

The above is a reissue of DUSA MGM 66009 CONNIE FRANCIS CANTA EN ESPANOL FAVORITAS LATINOAMERICANAS and feature's that album's sleeve picture - originally used on USA MGM E/SE 3969 FOLK SONG FAVORITES - with shortened title. It marks the third Mexican release for SPANISH & LATIN AMERICAN FAVORITES, having initially been released under its original USA catalog number and title MGM E/SE 3853 by CoRo S.A.
