Lee Wrecker 11th May 2016		Review Fripp teams up with abstract guitar playing Wunderkid of the time Adrian Belew but the results are indifferent. I bought this album on release and let it hang around my house for a few years hoping it would grow on me. It didn't. As I recall the album it was overly produced in that early 80's style the overall sound was flat and smooth. Despite the layers and layers of interesting playing the sum total of all this guitar wizardry was that Fripp and Belew seemed to cancel each other out. This is an album by a King Crimson line up that looks good on paper but failed to produce much of interest in reality. Overall, a disappointing album and the end result is either an opportunity lost or just a totally ill conceived project. A bit of a shame given the talent on offer.
