MGM label

Prior to Phonogram's merger with Polydor to form PolyGram, the above album had been planned for release. Its eventual withdrawal, however, meant that over a decade had passed without the new MGM owners making an Italian compilation available.

Most of the selections on the above compilation were subsequently included on the similarly titled TANGO DELLA GELOSIA released on POLYDOR 486 213.

It had been intended to include the 3:28 ITALIAN ONLY version of AL DI LA, and not the 3:49 performance featured on MGM EM 102 CONNIE IN ITALIA.
