Vinyl Album
Notes Phonogram Pty Ltd release Metro Label Same contents and album artwork as BRITAIN MGM 2353 056. The above album was released as a "companion" Metro volume to 2355 030. Greatest Hits Vol. 2 contains 16 selections and, as such, was a more reflective companion set to Britain's original Greatest Hits package on MGM SELECT 2353 039 with its similar number of tracks. The Australian Greatest Hits, copied from the German set, contains 12 titles. The budget Metro label, which had been launched by MGM Records in the US in 1965, made its overseas debut when reactivated by Polydor in Germany in June 1972. From a chronological point of view, it would appear to have replaced the Karussell label on which Phonogram had marketed its earlier budget Connie Francis releases. Images
