I think it's fairly well known by now that Polydor and other UK companies pressed some singles and albums in the USA for UK release during either or both of the three day working week or energy crisis, so this "export" issue should be merged with the UK one.

Changed to Export issue hope this is acceptable, if not other suggestions ?

I think this is the answer "Wasn't this the UK release that was pressed in the USA, during the UK plastic famine of 72/73"
I just phoned a friend in Hendersonville, TN, and he said that he is nearly 100% sure, that Slayed with cat# 2383 163 was never released in the US. Only the ones with the PD prefix.
He might be wrong?
The record must anyway been mastered at Sterling Sounds, NY.

The Flea's suggestion sounds more probable, surely. After all it has Made in U.S.A. on the label, therefore shouldn't it be merged with the UK release with notes stating "Pressed in U.S.A".
With sleeve printed in the UK.

Just checked my UK record, B5 does not have ‘Feel So Fine’,
also ‘1.2.4. Barn Pub.3.Barn/Schroeder 5.United Artist.
A side has 2383 163 A (upside down triangle) 111 5,
B side has 2383 163 B (upside down triangle) 1 117, if this helps in anyway.

Back cover look a shade to yellow?.

If that's the case then it should be merged with the other UK entry methinks.

The U.S.A. release was PD 5524, so this is a UK release
