confranfan SUBS 24th Jun 2017		POLYDOR RECORDS LTD release POLYDOR label - POLYDOR SUPER Series The above album was simultaneously issued on cassette POLYDOR 3177 302. This album was the world's first reissue of all 12 selections contained on the similarly titled 1960 USA LP MGM E/SE 3869, marketed in Britain by EMI on MGM C 845/CS 6021. Supplied in a new picture sleeve, its four additional tracks make it the most definitive Jewish compilation possible. A3: THOSE WERE THE DAYS is a live performance and from the same 1970 Romanian concert which produced Italian selections on USA LAURIE HOUSE LH-8019 CONNIE ITALIANO. Copyright is owned by Connie Francis. B5: FIDDLER ON THE ROOF/TO LIFE medley culled from USA LP MGM SE 4472 HAPPINESS: CONNIE FRANCIS ON BROADWAY TODAY. B7: SUNRISE SUNSET is a "live" recording culled from USA LP MGM SE 4411 CONNIE FRANCIS LIVE AT THE SAHARA IN LAS VEGAS. B8: EXODUS/HAVA NAGILAH medley culled from USA LP MGM SE 4298 CONNIE FRANCIS SINGS THE ALL TIME INTERNATIONAL HITS. Sleeve pose was subsequently [albeit inverted] used on the first US reissue of Jewish material on LP MGM MGB-1-5412 CONNIE'S GREATEST JEWISH HITS in September 1982, nine months after its stateside "debut" on SESSIONS ARI 1023 MERRY CHRISTMAS...CONNIE FRANCIS.
