 Well, scrub my thought about this being a 1980 UK release, because it was reviewed in BLACK MUSIC & JAZZ REVIEW'S September 1979 issue, so probably an August 1979 release. Another few brain cells gone....

 There seem to be a few of these UK copies in US sleeves around; Discogs has one, and I have one, with a sticker on the back cover reading "RE-ORDER UNDER CATALOGUE NUMBER 2391 412". There were eventually UK sleeves printed, but I wonder why Polydor UK went for US sleeves initially? Anyway, my imperfect memory tells me that this was an early 1980 UK release, but I'm not sure that I can prove it now, and it doesn't appear in the 1984 Music Master catalogue, though some earlier albums do - maybe this didn't sell as well as they hoped because the "D" word in the title put people off!
