Added labels without production credit for Peter Grant.
Record is in German sleeve with catalogue No. SD 7201 on front and Peter Grant credit inside.
This was one of the first LP's I bought back in 1970 or 71.
There are various different labels in the red/purple series.
The one shown is 1st issue with incorrect credit for Peter Grant
Next came that incorrect credit stickered over
Next (probably) came 'Producer: Jimmy Page' which was placed at the bottom of the label below the track listing
a) below 'Warner Bros. Music' or b) above 'Warner Bros. Music'
However there exists a copy with NO producer credit on side two.
(pics pending)
The rotating cover was also made in West Germany and some of the covers were shipped to the UK when cover supplies ran into difficulties. Within the 'Made in Germany' sleeve was the 3rd state red/purple pressing.
Furthermore the special cover was used for later pressings into the 90s where all Atlantic vinyl was pressed/manufactured in Europe-usually Germany.
Despite the cost of producing the cover the 90s issues were budget priced 'Prime' series usually with a large yellow sticker with a large '!'
The construction was very similar to the original with heavy card and was also laminated inside and out albeit 'modern' lamination.
The vinyl was typical 90s pressing weighing in at 110 grams as opposed to the 130-140 grams of the 1st pressings
The cover however weighs 225 grams (and 215 on the 90s repress) !
By the way there is a grommet but is is concealed below the front cover and inside front cover but can clearly be felt
