Concieved and produced by John Boylan, "it was a unique effort, an attempt to show on one album, the potential variety of the pedal steel guitaras played by five of its leading proponents."
The Suite Steel Band credits eight players who are led by the steel player stated on each track.
Side 2 is banded into 5 tracks.

rocket666 27th Jun 2020		Having a pedal steel playathon with Red Rhodes albums and first time for this one. Sliding the disc back in the inner sleeve and cover and out slips a US 7" square promo flexi from 1975 by Evatone Soundsheets!!!! (Can't even see it on discogs). Amazed. Plays at 33 1/3 rpm with 15 short tracks over two sides; seems to be a tutorial with short information talks, all by Winnie Winston. Will list this soon! Also found here, 3 page photocopy cutting from (US) Guitar Player magazine Sept 1972, with 'Suite Steel' review and Boylan interview.
