Not typically counted as an "official Ringo album", but it served to count as the last release of a three album deal that Ringo had with Polydor Records in the UK (after leaving Apple) and was never released outside the UK.

In 1997 UK actor Donald Pleasence produced a concept that resulted in an illustrated children's book and a soundtrack album. It was intended to be adapted for animation to be shown on TV but this was dropped due to a strike in 1978.

Since its initial announcement and cancellation, the special has never been screened or released in any video format. No footage leaked of the project and details about its production remain extremely vague. However, on 21 November 2020 storyboards from the special were listed on eBay with an asking price of £500.00. The seller claimed that one of the producers was his step-father and that the drawings were found in his loft (with thanks to lostwikimedia.com the drawings can be seen here).

Ringo appears as the album's main character, Scouse the Mouse, who emigrates from Liverpool to the United States.

Other characters are played by Adam Faith (“Bonce the Mouse”) and Barbara Dickson (“Molly Jolly”).
