Vinyl Album
Notes Although Mary Wells had a successful recording career while she was under contract to Motown records, Ms. Wells had also recorded by means of the Twentieth Century Fox label from which she had reached minor prosperity by popularizing the tune Lose Your Head, which has a similar melody pattern to that of the tune of My Baby Loves Me which was popularized by Martha and the Vandellas in 1966. The next record label to which she was contracted was Atco records which had issued this disc of 33.33 rpm. The tunes of the a-side were sung by Ms. Wells by means of a powerful rockin-soul pitch, whereas Ms. Wells performed the tunes of the b-side thru an old-fashion night club style singing voice.
