This Atco disc contains the tunes the Trap, which was a popular film in the United Kingdom in 1966. This picture show concerns a rural Canadian lifestyle in the late nineteenth century in which a homeless girl named Eve is bought in a marriage auction by a French-Canadian trapper named Jean La Bete who takes her to his forest home where she becomes his companion and eventually the hunter due to the fact that the leg of La Bete was crushed in a bear trap.

A short time later, Eve runs away to the torrent river where she nearly lost her life. Now that Eve has to independently hunt to survive, she cannot speak, but she has the ability to feel by means of her eyes. When Eve realized where her destiny was, she came back to La Bete and had found a carved wooden chandelier. Accordingly, this is the first that Eve had ever felt wanted and accepted despite her speaking challenge.

Though this Atco disc did not sell well, this film The Trap will long be remembered by spectators that Eve was a strong survivor in a pre-industrial revolution era.
