This disc of 33.33 rpm concerns The Golden Screw which was an Off-Broadway folk rock musical which premiered at the Theatre Genesis in September 1966. This production also ran from the 30 January 1967 to the 5 March 1967 at the Provincetown Playhouse in the Greenwich Village section of New York City.

This musical, which was written and performed by Tom Sankey, concerns a struggling Bob Dylan type musician who plays at night clubs and does odd jobs during the daytime until this Dylan type performer becomes commercially successful. Furthermore, Mr. Sankey, who played the autoharp, had performed with Jack Hopper and members of the Inner Sanctum who were Kevin Michael, the lead guitar, Gerry Michael, the drummer, and Vince Taggart, the rhythm guitarist.
