Notes

Robert (Q. Lewis) Goldberg was an entertainment personality by means of both the radio and the television even though he acted in a few picture shows, such as An Affair To Remember, Ski Party and How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.

Mr. Lewis is most renowned by the quiz Marc Goodson- Bill Todman program The Name's The Same which concerned three celebrity contestants who had to guess the name of a noted person of which a non-famous contestant had much knowledge. If no celebrity contestant was able to figure out who that noted person was, then each contestant had to write checks of $25 to the non-famous contestant.

This disc of 33.33 rpm consists of tunes that were composed during the vaudeville acting era which took place in the first third of the twentieth century. Furthermore, Mr. Lewis, who is accompanied by the orchestra of Ray Bloch And His Blochbusters, sings these tunes in a manner in which Mr. Lewis believed that the vaudeville era had never ceased.
