Notes The Rose Garden was a Los Angeles-based band that was founded in 1964 under the group name "The Blokes", which was renowned for performing different rendition of tunes that were previously sung by the Byrds. The group members were Diana DeRose, the primary vocalist, John Noreen, the lead guitarist, James Groshong, the second guitarist, William Fleming, the bass guitarist and Bruce Boudin, the drummer. Although this was the only Atco disc of 33.33 rpm that this band had issued, this disc was very prosperous in the San Bernardino, CA area simply because the 26 January 1968 hit parade of KFXM-AM (560) indicated that this was the third best selling disc of 33.33 rpm at that time. However, this disc sold rather poorly in the rest of the United States even though this disc had reached higher than the 200th position of the Billboard Hit Parade of Albums. Images
