Notes This Atco disc of 33.33 rpm is of the 1967 film entitled "The Long Duel" which concerns the conflict of the Sultan, who was an Indian tribe leader and the British officer named Freddy Young that occurred during the 1920s. At that time, India had struggled in a similar way that the United States had done a century and a half earlier to win its independence from Great Britain. Accordingly, this duel of six years was of an innocent game of hide and seek, but ended up a bloody war battle where thousands of Indian soldiers had sacrificed their lives to make India an independent nation. The musical theme of When The World Is Ready is instrumental, but the epilogue of When The World Is Ready is vocally sung by Vince Hill. Images
