ppint. 22nd Oct 2015		robozuc: (not philmh but): yes. not so reliably with cds, as musicmegacorpses have evolved the habit of recycling dead labels' artwork as "design concepts" (or some such megacorpsespeak) to decorate the whole of a disc (and sometimes the packaging)'s background, upon which the 21st century publishing, copyright & actual "label" are cunningly hidden; - but, by and large, non-bootlegged lps, eps & singles really are on the labels they display, up to the late 20th century c.e. (a.d.) - and often, even into the beginning of this millennium! "rolling stones records" recordings were evidently licensed to emi italy and, in the absence of firm information to the contrary, if they appear on the "rolling stones records" label, this is how they're 45worlds-catted.



robozuc 22nd Oct 2015		Ok Phil, now I understand, but I had doubts with the inscription inside the cover: Manufactured and distributed by EMI Ltd. (P) 1982 ecc..... So even "Undercover" needs to change label? Confirm?



PhilMH 22nd Oct 2015		Hi robozuc, EMI is the record company, but the labels on the actual record are the standard Rolling Stones Records label design that has been in use since 1971.
