I didn't notice the GEMA/BIEM on the labels the other day. This suggests German issue, but there is already a German Atco issue linked below, though without images.
Those would be reissues, as Stax/Volt ended their deal with Atlantic/Atco in May 1968, but Atlantic/Atco kept the back catalogue. Eventually, the Stax and Volt albums were reissued on Atlantic and Atco with new catalogue numbers, the Stax ones gaining an extra digit so that Stax 701 became Atlantic SD 7701, the Volts were renumbered in the Atco 33-xxx series, Volt 411 becoming Atco SD 33-248, the other new numbers not being sequential.
Complete set of images added. I can't really understand why most of my Otis Redding Volt LPs had an Atco label even though they have a Volt number. Are they originals or reissues?
