Dr Doom SUBS ● 14th Dec 2015		Review Being a huge fan of Ms. Weinberg's sole LP from 1969 I was excited to hear that Chicago's Numero Group were going to release this unissued album. I had wrongly presumed it would consist of demo recordings but instead it's a proper complete but unissued album (her label Tetragrammaton went bankrupt leaving 'Greasepaint Smile' in limbo - full story in the sleevenotes) Well I'm pleased to say that on first listen this sounds every bit as great as her first album. It has a wonderfully ragged feel about it but her voice and the songs are beautiful as ever. Re-issue (of sorts) of the year for me. 3 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
