Lee Wrecker 28th Apr 2017		Hi Janie, The story goes that you have to link albums to the primary release (master I erroneously called it) this usually appears first in the list if you search by album title. Eponymous albums such as this though are a pain as the search often throws up everything but the album you're looking for. You need to link to the primary release otherwise strange things can happen. Most often if you don't link to the primary release you will only link two albums and those two will disappear from the other linked albums and unless you know which is the primary release you can end up splitting the links into a lot of little groups. I am not a MOD like you so I don't get to see which is the primary release as this facility is only visible to MODS on the site. So linking albums can turn into a bit of a nightmare when you're running blind on which release is actually the primary release. Perhaps we should make that information visible to all site users? Anyway, good job on making the actual original release the primary release in this instance. I've gone back to my childhood and started listening to these Jonathan Richman And The Modern Lovers albums again and I'm loving it.



janiejjones 27th Apr 2017		Hi Lee, thanks for linking. This was just the first one entered here. I have now made the 76 US one "primary". But I have to admit I do not know what that actually means (I have a feeling it can be a pain when linking stuff, but that is just guesswork).



Lee Wrecker 27th Apr 2017		This copy is the master release as far as this site concerned. Dreadfully hard to find with the eponymous title and 3 unlinked copies but I've muddled through and I'm fairly certain this the master release.
