Notes

Even though this is the second disc of 33.33 rpm of the Amboy Dukes, this is the most remembered LP disc due to the fact that this LP nationally and internationally sold more copies than any other Amboy Dukes LP. Two tunes, Journey To The Center Of The Mind and Mississippi Murderer were issued by means of the same Mainstream disc of 45 rpm. Accordingly, Journey To The Center Of The Mind became a top twenty success by means of the US Billboard hit parade.

Despite the fact that only the stereo catalog # S-6112 appears by means of the front and reverse jacket sides, this disc was actually monaurally recorded simply because both the a- and b-sides indicate the monaural catalog # 56112. Furthermore, near the upper right angle of the front jacket a MONO sticker was pasted over the STEREO catalog info. because this disc was only available to radio stations and not to the record shops. Starting with the Growing Concern disc of 33.33 rpm 56108 (mono) and S-6108 (stereo), Mainstream records only indicated the stereo catalog numbers by means of the front and reverse jackets, but continued to indicate both the a- and b-side discs monaural with the monaural catalog numbers until mid-1968.

Finally, even though the MONO stickers that were pasted over the STEREO catalog numbers generally indicated that such discs were pressed for only radio stations, these disc images gave the indication that these were monaural stock copies simply because the monaural catalog number was indicated and that no stereo catalog # appeared on such monaural discs.
