The label is Dutch because of the small boxed BIEM. A German one wouldn't have this. And further: a German cat# for EMI would have had a space in the cat# 1C 048-XX XXX
On 45Cat there are more examples from these Probe "blanks" with BIEM in the Dutch section.
there's an edition listed as .de on discogs, but it bears the probe 5C 048-91835 cat# on the label, as well as matrix number 1C 048-91835-A on the a-side label, and 1 (outside black line box) [C04891835] (= inside black line box) on top rh side back lp sleeve; this is the same as on your copy.
given the label's printed on a blank stating it's made in great britain, what're the chances the gramophone company ltd. simply got it wrong, forgetting to change the "5" to "1" in the main cat# on the label?
COrrection request this being German denied. "German according Discogs" This is Dutch according to 45 worlds. There will probably also be German vinyl with 1C cat# on labels and GEMA rights org.
We wish you happy catting: Dutch record (5C) in German sleeve (1C), blank UK labels (Made in Gt Britain) probably overprinted in Holland, Dutch release.....
