Thanks Phil, as you mention below this album did come with a square paper poly lined bag and an inner sleeve. but that may have belonged to one of the other New Zealand pressings I picked up. The previous two NZ pressings of The Dire Straights (sic) I uploaded had labels like this one. Your previous info about the Auckland pressing plant helped me identify this as a NZ pressing but I wasn't sure whether this actual pressing was used in both countries. I'll enter as NZ listing as well then. Thanks for your help.
Hi Lee, looks like dual country to me, and more particularly a NZ pressing, many of which can be identified by the label layout on the right-hand side:
CATALOGUE NUMBER
SIDE NUMBER
STEREO
Additionally, NZ-pressed PolyGram LPs that don't have printed inner sleeves commonly had poly-lined paper inner sleeves, whilst Australia was still using the round-bottom poly inners.
Added a full set of scans for moderation. I prefer Whassup's labels but the others are all 60/40 - 40/60 depending on your outlook I suppose. Cheers to Whassup for doing the entry in the first place. Oh, is this Australiasian release a dual citizen Aussie/Kiwi album?
