Notes

Discogs notes this album is a "Counterfeit / pirate issue on blue vinyl. Label, catalogue number, cover etc replicate the original UK issue." Most likely from about 2013-14 but origin and bootleggers as yet unknown. The give away is the label is an earlier period Vertigo label (black and white swirl) and should in fact be the greenish spaceships design if were to match the original release.

ppint. 27th Jan 2017		yr hmbl srppnt. waves at t'judge: ta. unless the sides were re-cut elsewhere, one'd expect further stampers to bear some progressive variation in the last two digits only of that string. (- but is that second one definitely 636320 2* (etc.) rather than 6360620 2* (etc.) ?)

ppint. 27th Jan 2017		lee: i believe the legitimate matrix numbers were 6360 620.1 & 6360 620.2 (see its labels) °. . . (° - each probably followed by further additional digits & symbols indicating individual stamper plates)



Lee Wrecker 27th Jan 2017		Yup, ppint same recordings deadwax has 6360 620 (A + B) etched. Rumour is that they are sourced from CD Remasters but I'm not an authority on this sort of thing so I can't be sure. Sure was fooled by it though and as I don't carry a mobile phone there was no way to check in the shop when I bought it. Just relying on me good old fashioned brainpower was not good enough it seems. Not too bad though in the end it plays and has caused a bit of a stir here in trainspotter's heaven.
