 It is conceivable that it was printed with 3 months in advance of release date? It is really difficult to be sure about release date from a pressing date on the matrix which may not be the same as release date? That is why month of release really needs something more reliable.

 This mono version was released in August 1962 already. My copy shows 8.62 as printing date and H2 = August 1962 in matrix
