Columbia stock (as opposed to record club) pressings of this album exist, owing to a strike at RCA Victor's Rockaway, NJ plant at the time; they added their own custom numbers (XCSV-126281 / 126282) to the mix, though at least one copy had lacquers from RCA's Chicago studios (and their matrix numbers in the deadwax), and the XCSV numbers just added onto the runouts.
Hi Phil, you may be right, but to be honest, I find it most annoying when trying to locate an entry I have to try several versions of the various cat#s on my record, and only one fits the #world bill. I prefer to have all those numbers available. In the current case, when submitting I did not know whether mine was Mono, Stereo, or plain LP. My comment was more directed towards expecting a "true Stereo" cover sometime in the future relegating mine to a variation.
Hi janie, I think that if this is a stereo release, then we should enter only the stereo number - I don't think we need to go to the (sometimes ridiculous) lengths of The Other Site and list a number just because it's there, a lot of companies in the 60's produced covers that had both mono and stereo numbers on them.
This might be a mono cover, that is a "Stereo" sticker on the front, the spine has MM 660
