The above album was issued as part of a series of releases titled "STARS UND IHRE GROSSEN ERFOLGE". Sleeve picture, inset in red background, is from the session which produced that used on USA LP MGM E 3686 WHO'S SORRY NOW revised cover. Preceding album MGM (6) 65039 MY HREATEST SONGS uses a two-tone close-up reproduction of this same shot.

Same content and album design as GERMAN LP MGM 65 040.

This album was released in two editions:

Edition "A": features same dark RED background sleeve as mono edition
Edition "B": is a pressing manufactured three years later (September 1963) and with new date credited on the liner. Original dark RED background to sleeve is reproduced in ORANGE with this edition.
