Notes

When Chicken Shack was formed in 1965, this group consisted of Stan Webb, Andy Silvester, and Alan Morley. In 1968, Alan Morley was replaced by Dave Bidwell, and Christine Perfect joined this group. Chicken Shack was the professional debut of Christine Perfect, who later married John McVie of Fleetwood Mac. The group members enjoyed blues music so much that they recorded six songs that were previously released by different American blues singers. Furthermore, four original compositions were written by two members, who were Stan Webb and Christine Perfect, of this group.

mono lp unless the 7- (for blue horizon) cbs sequence cat# is prefixed by an "s" (which is all that was left, by this date, of the cbs group prefix "sbpg" for stereo british (pressing? printing?) or, for mono lps, the absence of prefix was all that was - or, rather, wasn't - left of the prefix, "bpg".

later, cbs dropped the mono edition of albums with stereo editions, which they emblazoned "stereo playable mono", which was true - fcvotw. . .

and then stopped bothering to pretend.
