| | According to Irwin Chusid, the session was produced by Tom Wilson, who was then working with The Blues Project and had previously produced Sun Ra. The original plan was to have all of the Blues Project guys on the session, but Al Kooper couldn't make it, as he had to attend a party for his father's 50th birthday - so Wilson asked Mr. Ra (who, coincidentally or not, would later write and record a song called "I'm Gonna Unmask The Batman") if he would subsitute, and he not only agreed but brought some of his Arkestra members along. |

| | The long session for the entire LP was done by Sun Ra and members of The Blues Project. Sun Ra's entourage slept on the floor of the studio as they worked on the tracks. One of Sun Ra's group is the uncredited vocalist on Robin's Theme. Al Kooper produced the session. |

| | I remember this album well, as it was at one point in the record collection of the summer camp in upstate New York where I spent my summers in the late '70's. One of the tracks was a 'Batman-ized' rendition of "A Lover's Concerto," just can't point my finger on which of these selections fit that description. |

| | Added cover and inner sleeve scans from my collection. I got a copy of this record for my 4th birthday in 1966, I had if for awhile but lost it through the years but now I have bought another one for my collection. To this day I have yet to listen to the whole thing, someday I will. |
