Whilst Lee states "Sometimes nothing is better than anything I think" I think a generic cover is better than nothing but then that just my opinion.
Regarding the pilfering quote the cover comes from a site with no legal or copyright issues and is only used as the original poster or one of the actual owner hasn't supplied a photo or scan. Easily deleted in the future once they supply the "genuine" thing.
Feel free to delete any images that you believe fail to serve a purpose be they generic copies or any that I scan.
Yup, I agree TopPopper these half sized cover shots pilfered off the net images are not a good look and are not backed up with any evidence from the actual record itself. Or is it the case now that any image better than none? I don't think so and this practice is only marginally short of stealing other members cover shots like this. Both of these types of image skullduggery need to stop as they compromise the integrity of the site.
Perhaps, if sladesounds had been upfront and noted that the image supplied was an "image of album artwork not of actual album" it would be better. But would it, the images here are not that hot anyway and look like 450 x 450 res. and are small, presumably because they won't blow up to full size without pixilating into oblivion.
Sometimes nothing is better than anything I think.
Hi. Are you using the same image for every edition? Really we need an actual photo of the sleeve you have each time. There can be small differences between them.
