At the time, label was run entirely by Tony Russell. Later it involved the participation of Topic Records in management, production & distribution.

When the involvement with Topic Records and Tony Engle began, the STR prefix began to be used. So the earliest issue has just 801 as catalogue number but all others are STR 801.
