This was the first Led Zeppelin album that I ever owned on vinyl and it was not an original pressing, but rather, a 180g vinyl reissue.

I absolutely love these 180g vinyl reissues of Led Zeppelin and what makes them even better is not only the replicated Atlantic and Swan Song labels, but also the faithfully replicated original album artwork, including gatefolds, inserts and die-cut sleeves where applicable, and Jimmy Page himself personally supervised John Davis's remastering work and collaborated with him on it, so that lends extra authenticity.

D'yer Mak'er reminds a bit of Benny Hill in parts but this song is one of the reasons that punk had to happen. I had to rate it 1 because there is no 0 or minus numbers. This album typifies the mind numbing excess and self absorbed tripe that eventually caused the extinction of rock dinosaurs like Led Zeppelin. Please remember that this is my personal opinion and I'm not trying to annoy any Led Zeppelin fans, it's just when I saw this album on random records these were the thoughts that sprang to mind. The sight of this album still makes me cringe or should that be crunge? Aah, aah, a-a-a ahh.
